However, I will still post here are on WD, besides the fact that I now have THREE sites. You can find the link here, and on the Blog Link bar. Chao~!

God is Kind, but just doesn’t like Edward
Posted on September 4th, 2007 at 4:49 pm by Dragon of the Valleys

Okay-dee-kay. That is my word for “okay”. It sounds Indian. I was surfing on YouTube for Requiem for a Dream music vids and found this:

Hope you enjoy. This is my fave song with my fave manga/anime or shows in general (started reading the manga). The title refers to when Edward creates a wall protecting him from Father Cornello’s bullets from his machine gun. He says, “I’m sorry, but God doesn’t like me very much.”

What we think about Harry Potter
Posted on August 31st, 2007 at 5:11 pm by Dragon of the Valleys

***SPOILER-WARNING***

TURN BACK IF YOU HAVE NOT READ AND WATCHED HARRY POTTER!

Hi guys, this is DotV here. I’m doing a collaborative post where all three staff members are writing one post about the new Harry Potter movie and book and what we thought about them. I will start.

DotV’s Reviews

  • Harry Potter movie

I thought the movie was good. Mr. Yates did a good job of compressing eight hundred seventy pages into less than two hours.I mistook the soundtrack for Mr. John Willams’s work. However, sadly, he has not returned. I have to believe that Mr. Radcliff, Mr. Grint, and Ms. Watson have outdone themselves. I believe that the choice of actor for Bella LeStrange was a good choice, too. They CGing on the Thestrals, the Prophesies, and the Veil scene was excellent. The choice of Luna Lovegood’s character was pretty acurate, too. However, this movie left out a lot of things. I can’t help but say that I was disappointed by the Department of Mysteries and that they left out the Hospital scene. I was really hoping to see Lockhart again! :( It was good movie, but I still missed some of the scenes.

  • Harry Potter book

AWESOME BOOK! ONE OF THE BEST EVER! I was really sad when Hedwig and Fred died. Oh, yeah, and the Lupins. I was surprised that Harry was actually a Horcrux! Really! Oh, and thought all the signatures and what not on the sign in front of Harry’s old house was cute. My favorite chapter was the Prince’s Tale. I always knew you loved Lily, Sev! And I somehow guessed that the doe Patronus was Sevvy’s, too. I loved the ending. Harry named his son after Dumbledore and Sev! And Neville was pretty cool, too. Yeah, better than in OotP. I was like, “YOU GO, NEVILLE!” And the major conflict between Harry and Draco was let go. I thought that was cute. Overall, an awesome book!

Hi, guys. ZantynthLD here. I’ve got absolutely nothing to say. Because a I am a worthless idiot and has a charming dislike of cats.

ZantynthLD’s Reviews

  • Harry Potter book

I really thought it was a good book. My opinion that it is best book ever after The Lorax by famous author, Dr. Seuss. That book made an impression of who I am. Anyways, before I get too off topic, I thought that the dragon scene was really nice. I made a name for that dragon. Its name is Adelaide. I just assumed it was a girl dragon… Yeah, moving on. I was really upset when Dobby died. He died a heroic death. So sad. I was most sad that Fred died and Malfoy lived! How is that equivalent exchange! Too much Fullmetal Alchemist; I’m sorry. ^^;

  • Harry Potter movie

It was an okay movie. I didn’t like the Department of Mysteries. But the thestrals were awesome. Oh, I would died to ride one of those! I wonder how much Hooper had to pay for the rights for using the Harry Potter theme for the soundtrack? Not astronomical, I suppose. I thought the scene that was before Dumbledore’s almost arrest was pretty cool. That departure was, “Woah, Dumbledore, don’t be cool; be hot!” That was amazing. I laughed. Especially to the way the crowd reacted to Fudge saying, “He’s back!”

No, really? :D

Relm’s Reviews

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix

Well personally I felt like this movie was too rushed and that for the people that haven’t read the books it was very confusing. It was well done for how long the book was and the time that they had to do it, but I still felt like it was missing a lot. I felt like many of the new characters were very well cast. Luna Lovegood and Umbridge were amazing! It was good, but it definitely was not my favorite Harry Potter movie overall.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Book Seven

Well what can I say… I enjoyed this book, but it wasn’t my very favorite Harry Potter. I was quite upset that J.K. Rowling decided to go on a killing spree and killed all of our favorite characters. That was just mean. I liked the whole Harry and Voldemort thing at the end. But at the same time it seemed a little predictable. I didn’t really like the epilogue either. It just seemed like it could have been a much better ending than that… I don’t know, maybe that’s just me… But overall, it was a good book that I would recommend to anyone.

All, I must wrap this up. Thank you, ZantynthLD (Administrator) and Relm (Editor) for your reviews. I have highest hopes that Scorchmaster will decide to contribute to these things and that I’ll boot you up, SM.

Full Metal Alchemist
Posted on July 31st, 2007 at 8:26 pm by Dragon of the Valleys

This is an anime show I like. This began when I created a character and my friend said it was Edward. Then I started looking up Full Metal and found an AMV about it. It was pretty good, so I decided to watch the series. Here’s the first episode, “To Challenge the Sun”.

Can’t put up Google videos, so click  this.Hope you enjoyed.

Ocarina of Time Medly
Posted on June 26th, 2007 at 5:51 pm by Dragon of the Valleys

The best piece of music I heard from the Smash Bros. Dojo. It’s an Ocarina of Time medly. However, not all of is played. The director claims it will be in-game music. Listen to it here.

As for other news, I don’t have any. But ZLD introduced me to something important. I have not yet put up a post about actual dragons, which I find rather pathetic. Here’s a link to the Wikipedia article.  –>Go Here<–

Your beloved Smokesnort has changed her name to Dragon of the Valleys. Just thought you should all know.

Also, we’re welcoming two new members of the staff here. ZantynthLD is set up as Administrator, so I’ll have to talk to him as well when I need to promote members.
There is also Relm, a good friend of mine, that is editor. Not as many privileges to being an administrator, but just as good.
